I just saw this page one of the first created by a member over ten
days ago. The answer is yes to both although so far they have only
mailed on disks because for some reason they don't want to restore the
files back to accessability online not even for purposes of
downloading.

Just don't give up- you've waited over a month to complain and every
bit helps especially with all the impediments we are encountering.

Joy,

Thank you!!!

I have tried to send message a few other times, but they would not go through (send) for some reason!!!  Also, I have had trouble with my phone lines and have been without phone or DSL service for several days at a time for the last couple of months!!!

I talked to my phone company yesterday, and they are going to test the DSL and phone lines!!!  They may have to replace them, because I believe--as evidently they do--that the lines & connections are outdated for the service I have!!!  They may have came over on the Mayflower (LOL), as my house is fairly old before update to it lately!!!  I think some of the phone wires/lines were the original ones with the first phone installation!!!

I have saved all messages that you have sent me, or that I have received having anything to do with the 'Yahoo Briefcase'!!!

I have yet to receive a 'warning' on my Yahoo e-mail address about the impending '360' Profile removal/deletion!!!  Why is that?

Have a good day,
Sharon Kaye

Is the link or

is to the archived video from yesterdays annual meeting which I'm
watching right now. I'll post a link to any transcript or copy it
here to a page at some point but more importantly will do some real
work torwards our unrealised goal of finding out when and if our files
can be recovered for all of us who want them.

Yes, it's not too late to watch the new CEO in action and much of
that recording I have not even heard (don't even know if ithe audio
only is an option to download ogg/mp3 wise for easier fitting into my
schedule yet).

I have approved all nonspam posts and not commented on the last few
who possibly or explicitly conveyed that they posted in part because
they thought we might be yahoo, not just victims trying to obtain
relief in concert instead of just misery.

I am also curious about how it seems that many have obtain help by
calling the concierge voicemail and don't bother to let us know the
outcome, what happened when and if they got a call back, especially
this late.

Keeping the rest of us up to date is the least any of us can do I
think especially if the help yahoo offers isn't contingent on not
talking as I've not heard it be so far- but of course I would not hear
that unless somebody chose to not get there files restored instead of
agree to such a deal- which of course has occured for some of us, but
just not that explicitly. It has occured to those of us who have been
offered our files without any acknowledgement from yahoo that it's not
a favor, that it's not something they should be offering wholesale, to
all so effected, especially early on, but even to those who are just
finding otu whether or not a simple email and nothing more was in fact
'neglected' by them NOT MONTHS prior as yahoo spins it astonishingly
dishonestly at best.

SOmeday, hopefully as has always been the case, I will have much more
time, and buts will be kicked, answers will be gotten, Joy more amply
will be shared.

If all some of you can do is wait, then do that. If any can do more,
I welcome that at least just as much. We are victims, 'we are' Yahoo
in that, in that we are customers, we are what pays the bills, or did,
and has, and will, but to what extent, to what extent we will remain
as loyal, to what extent those of us who don't know the risk they are
taking will continue to be in the dark, that is where hope can thrive.

If this company does not snap out of it, does not stop thinking that
letting a bunch of random stockholders say almost whatever they want,
is happpy with faint praise, is enough, is meaningful, they will face
the music that business faces, eventually, and whatever consolation
that offers is what it is.

It is often hard to know when we do our best and the world does not
treat us well. It is too easy to forget it is not our fault, not at
all, as this is a prime example of. We do have a duty to trust, as
we did, to risk, as we have paid despite that too high a price for,
and that is tragic, but not our fault. It can become our fault though
for those who are next victimised. It can become our fault for us as
well if we assume all is lost, when we have little if any reeason to
believe it is in fact too late for this information to be returned to
us.

Keep hope alive people. Fight. "Never surrender.' especially if not
for any reason then the false promise of peace it represents.
Regardless of yoru particilar facts know that it is the conclusion of
the best and most innocent of us that Yahoo! has disregarded our
rights in there ploy. They are and have been at fault. They could of
and should of done far more to avoid this at best interruption of
access to OUR files. They better be storing them safely. If they
are, they will eventually be rescued. I'm sorry on there behalf it's
taking so long. I am not going to give up though. You don't have to
give up either. I am on our side. I hope as many of you remain so as
well even and especially if only 'in spirit'. Especially that.
Truly. I kid you not. DO more if you can- but please do NO less then
to NOT tune out completely. Be available for that good new no matter
how long it takes- even if it's just a real resolution instead of just
assuming the worst because it's easiest. If any files have been
destroyed I will tell you exactly when that occured. You will know
the details. They alone can empower. Ignorance has done too much
harm already. Assume the files are hoarded, while they wait for us to
go away, so they don't have to acknowledge there incompetence. It
shall be shown. Hopefully before, well before, all our property is
blown. Incompetent, untrustworthy: that's Y! _SO_ _FAR_-- every day
they wait, it becomes all the more there permanent gait. So is the
worlds State. I won't hate. I'll wait for that date. It is
inevitable. The cancer grows. There survival is up to them. They
can survive announcing how to get our files- or worse. But beyond
this quarter, or year, it is the worst of business to ignore, no
model, just infantile. UNACCEPTABLE. Not by me, or many, not just as
something they claim with gustgo, but the ROAD for which we are ample
enough rubber. So for now we drive on, just that, as best we can, but
with a view of our so expose rear, but also there's. They could of
been our Sears. Instead they have the likes of Ms SPears at the
helm. Yang doesn't seem to have a hint- he recruited her, that much I
learned from her 'speech.' The freedom to trust is all powerful. It
must overcome. It is our will that insures it will be done.

I've noticed that the little "Y" some of us saw and read the
associated email because of is the same that 'answers' users get with
every notice so
that explains best why many didn't notice the notice.

(the link below is still working as we begin August without relief I
just checked)

P.S.

I realise it's been awhile since I've set any encouraging words even.
At least google isn't blocking this group from showing up in
directories at least it showed up
in my list just now.
