In the USA it is free to dial and should be dialable as a usa # at the regular international rate even from Italy:
A new member also spent more then ten minutes writing us earlier this week, requesting emailing of his files. Only yahoo can produce the files, and they have never been heard publically acknowledging that they can, but they have, although only on a physical CD ROM disc that they ship to the unfortunately very, and we don't know exactly how very, lucky. Those we know of who have had yahoo find files and attempt or succeed in shipping them got yahoo's attention by not accepting what they have posted on there pages or users seeking points for answering in any way other users questions so conveniently make scape goats in saying. The '888', american toll free number above, and the 'concierge' email addresses found elsewhere in the archive of this group have been recommended and nobody yet has claimed that despite trying the 888 # they heard nothnig or only rejection. That doesn't mean it's not too late, but it is significant that nobody has bothered to share that fact if yahoo is claiming it. Even if someone now shares that they have been calling and leaving messages and not heard or heard it was waste of time all hope should not be given up- not even then. Especially though absent that proceed as if time is of the essence but in no way is it too late. Neither I nor anyone I know of would prefer compensation and I do not choose to only have that as a remedy. But we all do what we can to limit the harm to us, and hopefully will try to hold those who harm us however much they do accountable. I'm sorry swine flu etc. has had a full ten days go by without moderation here. I assure you that there is a lot of spam that would come through if this wasn't moderated and subject to such rarely so prolonged delay in only new member posts being distributed.
Anyone whose posts I have distributed can delete them from the archive if they are concerend about addresses being copied by robots but the google archive I am trusting to not do that in this instance as it has a 'prove your a human' to see the full address feature and I will edit this note if asked.
I just didn't want members to have to sift through another half dozen notes so have pasted below what I'm not approving from KH....
I am asking for feedback from those who have called
I did put it in the suject only, I thought especially prominently but apparently successfully hidden prior to this followup. I realised then that not eveyone finds the links at the bottom of posts to the homepage the archive provides that I also have emphasized the use of this number on. I hope that this is the best #, not the travel agency #, but if it is that you can get the right one from there at least if you ask nicely. I don't take the time to paste the email address's because I have heard that robotic rejections have resulted from writing them if you have not been written first by yahoo following I hope as mere an effort as leaving a voicemail.
At somepoint we will have counsel and will get some or all of our files and whatever other justice is do to us- because although it will be long in coming it is inevitable. Sure I regret not using this phone number solution more myself perhaps. I have tried to apply my time in a way that offers relief to more othen just me not realizing it would take so long and so much more time ultimately. Only much more investment of time though will really tell whether I have erred beyond just hurting my own chances of getting at least some of my files returned. I have humbly asked others to try to help our general plight as best they can, if they thinnk they can or are merely will to try in concert with helping themselves. Few have as little time as some of us in this situation to dicker around online etc. It's why we got into this mess in part. Not just because we might not be rich. But because we tend as a 'class' to not be online all the time. This has many insensitive to our victimisation.
It is worth noting that I have had to setup recovery questions for a lot of sites after first being just prompted to do so. It has already been mentioend that yahoo's choice of 'notice' was most feeble and in no way necessarally so. It was exactly as if they cared not at all if the notice was successful or adequate but rather prefered it to be just considered that and garnering less of a burden to them for it's failure. They could of forced us to download our files before checking our email, instead of confiscating our entire email accounts when we complained they didn't do that to get our attention AND in fact convinced us we had more time then they ultimately allowed. Had they done a better job by those of us who found out about the nonworking link to briefcase within 90 days of it's not worknig perhaps they could of gotten away with never returning etc. files for those who are just now, after that term, finding out about the challenge we face. But now we are one pending strong class and nobody should blame themselves. What we may accomplish will be worth whatever work we put into it but no amount of money will be able to compensate us if yahoo has lost our information. All we can aspire to is making sure it doesn't happen again to the best of our ability. THey have not seen anything yet on this score. Anyone who buys them may regret it when the depth of the liability even for just delaying access is fully tallied. I only wish stockholders could stand to lose more then what they spend buying stock when something like this comes up. At least "Motley" and others to come are warning such foolish aquisitions off. Buy there stock to gain standing or give them money to give us, but don't think there scale can dilute the risk they have taken to make it at any price a bargain.
If our files are not returnable there will be discovery of just how much evil has been done and it will leave them barefoot for a long time.
