Greetings from Africa Youth Ministries, we're partnering with Greening Uganda in the World ENvironment Day Tree Planting Campaigns. By this mail, we’re writing to invite you to join & participate in our 2025 World Environment Day, World Environment Day Week, World Environment Day Month annual Mass Tree Planting PROJECTS e.g., Green Schools Projects, Community Tree Planting Projects, Green Caravan Project. Effective today 3rd June to 30th June 2025, we will carry out mass tree planting activities in selected Public schools, and Communities, you can join us by donating funds to procure trees.

This year we aim at Planting 1,000,000 trees in Urban Schools across the Country, with a keen focus on Northern Uganda and West Nile. This comes as a response to Climate Change, to address the increasing heat waves, rough storms, prolonged droughts, more trees will be able to provide the most needed conducive atmosphere for the communities identified above. When we plant trees they will help in carbon sequestering by capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and transforming it into biomass through photosynthesis.
