Alpha 8 released

Hi,

a new alpha version is available to download, check it out! :-)
You can download it at http://www.devzero.it/YABI_3.0_Download.html .

YABI returns to its former state, a stand-alone application, without any installer (Apple encourages this approach): you can install it with a simple and single drag&drop.

It also contains YABI Agent (stored into YABI), which could be started by YABI and stays in background, waiting for changes to AddressBook: when this happens, the agent creates/changes/deletes events in iCal, using YABI's settings.

IMPORTANT

If you're using a previous version of YABI (less than 3.0.0.8-alpha), you have to:

- delete folder /Library/Frameworks/YABI_common.framework

- delete folder /Applications/YABI

- install YABI whatever you prefer.

Here some release notes:

* under preferences, an info panel has been added to review custom dates specifiers

* yabi agent now answers to yabi ping request (used as keep-alive)

* yabi agent properly sends notification that AB changed

* BUG FIX: agent properly delete events which have been removed from AB

* BUG FIX: if first vCard hasn't any events, yabi thinks that it's first time you're using it

* yabi agent now properly listens for AB notification (no more distributed notifications)

* yabi agent now has an about box (even if there's a minor bug)

* minor UI changes in YABI

* BUG FIX: a SliderSwitch needs to be redisplayed after its value is changed

* added to YABI a preferences panel to control YABI Agent

* better push-in transition between peopleView and CoverView

* now contacts could be viewed only as table or coverflow (no more only table)

* added new menu items and shortcuts

* main window autosave added

* yabi's framework deleted and yabi agent has been included in yabi app

* added some tooltips to main window

* agent's menu is now a resource, no more created by code
