DEDICATION OF SUSAN'S GARDEN

Please join us for the dedication of Susan’s Garden on Sunday, April 10

at 1:30pm.

Susan Hantz Wolf was a lifetime member of York Art

Association. She began taking art classes at YAA when she was in her

mid-forties, a practice she continued for the rest of her life.

Her First classes were in pastels, then watercolor and Finally oil. The

majority of her work was in her favorite medium, pastel. Her favorite

subjects – animals!

As a Master Gardner, Susan landscaped various gardens at her

Wrightsville farm. One of them consisted of whimsical metal

sculptures, designed and fabricated by David Taylor of High Point, NC.

The garden, lovingly donated by her sister, Coni Wolf, brings together

Susan’s love of York Art Association, her love of art and her love of

animals. Thank you, Coni, for this wonderful gift we all can enjoy!
