11. Prof. Arun Kumar Ghosh(MSC/CHM/81) Distinguished Professor of Organic Chemistry & Medicinal Chemistry, Purdue University , for his outstanding contributions academic achievements in the field of discovery of drugs for AIDS.
12. Prof. J K Jain(MSC2/PHY/81) Erwin W. Mueller Professor of Physics, Pennsylvania State University, for his outstanding contributions and academic achievements in the field of composite fermions.
This years Satyendra K Dubey Memorial Award has been conferred upon Mr Shailesh Ramkumar Gandhi (BT/CE/69/IITB) for his exemplary dedication in spreading communal harmony and leading the right to information campaign.
The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on afternoon of January 2, 2010 as the part of the Alumni Convention.
