HFG/K and Nation Media Group -Opportunity for G-PANGE RADIO SHOW
The Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation (HFG) is a global public-private partnership that aims at HIV prevention among the youth aged 10-24. In Kenya, HFG/K exists to accelerate the Government of Kenya’s HIV prevention strategy of reducing HIV infection by 50% in the next 5 years. HFG/K’s vision is to inspire and provide opportunities for all youth to live healthy and productive lives and to contribute to the realization of an HIV free generation.
HFG/K hopes to realize this vision through increasing knowledge and skills for HIV prevention among youth; promoting safer sex behaviors and uptake of HIV prevention services; increasing youth participation and ownership of the program; improving self-esteem and empowerment among youth; and increasing youth access to economic empowerment opportunities.
HFG/K wants to use radio programming innovatively, interactively and differently, in its campaigns to reach the youth and is seeking talented youth to be mentored in presentation, production, reach and marketing.
