Sad News - Ron Byrne

I just spoke with Rebecca Stanley, she asked me to let you all know that Ron passed away on Wednesday. Ron was a key part of Y-Knot right from the beginning, and he was that reason that I — and so many others — got involved with the program. A lifelong sailor and great friend, he will be missed.

No information yet on services, I’ll post when I know.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 16, starting at 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at Bond Funeral Home, at 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady. A celebration of his life will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Centre Street Public House, 308 Union St, Schenectady.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Umbrella of the Capital District, 9 Broadway, Schenectady, NY 12305.
