The Robie Pierce is back in early June this year, see info from Bill Sandberg below:
Hi All,
The NOR and registration info for this year's Robies is finally up. We have been hit by the supply chain.😁
This year's event will be at American YC in Rye. Dates are June 3 for the Women's and June 4 and 5 for the full Robie. Here is the link:
Several things to note:
Unfortunately we can't provide housing as COVId has not gone away.
All competitors must be vaccinated(in the NORs). We are requiring that of all volunteers as well.
Like everything, costs have skyrocketed. We are raising the Robie entry fee by $25-only the second price increase since we started in 2010.
REMEMBER- bring your own PFD and handheld radio.
Ii would suggest you make hotel reservations ASAP. A lot of weddings postponed by COVID are happening. The Marriott Courtyard in Rye has been fully booked for over a month. They will call me if they have any cancellations, but I would't hold my breath.
