If you know someone with a disability and especially somebody with a spinal cord injury could you please share this information that there is an adaptive kayaking event at Moreau State Park 9/18, with 9/19 as a rain date.
Cost is covered for people with spinal cord injuries and veterans. The Northeast Disabled Athletic Association is sponsoring this wonderful clinic and it's a tremendous opportunity for people to learn about adaptive kayaking. There may be grant funding if needed. For everyone else, the suggested donation is $60.00 + park admission is $6.00 per car. I can email you additional information if you need it. I have been able to benefit tremendously from Cathy Webster who has worked and helped me be able to develop individualized seating and many other aspects to be able to get a chance to go kayaking.
