The Xyce team is please to announce that Xyce source code and its associated test suite is now available via a git repository on GitHub.

The project's repositories may be accessed via https://github.com/Xyce in addition to the normal download mechanism at https://xyce.sandia.gov/.

Documentation and precompiled binaries remain available only through the official project web site at https://xyce.sandia.gov/.

The GitHub repository is a truncated copy of the project's master branch, with numbered releases downloadable as tagged repository states.  Only releases beginning with 6.11 are present in this repository.

The current release is tagged as "Release-6.11.0" and may also be downloaded as a tar or zip file from https://github.com/Xyce/Xyce/releases

The master branch is updated approximately once per week, when the development code is run through testing and has passed all tests.   This allows users to obtain bug fixes and new features more rapidly than our bi-annual release process would otherwise allow.  However, the team does recommend that only numbered releases be used for production work.
