If you're dragging stuff over to your trade window or double clicking on items and it's not responding by putting that item in the trade window, give it a few minutes/hours/other arbitrary time period and try again.

This is the second time I have traded with someone via direct trade (not trade offer) and the delay is immense. I mean it shows that the trade was accepted in trade history, but neither my items are removed, nor the partner gets any items for like 8 - 10 hours. I bought 70 CS:GO keys with PayPal 11 hours ago. They show in my trade history but not in my inventory. I guess it's server issues again.

I think you are confusing two different terms here. Items are on trade hold when you don't have mobile confirmation enabled, in this case the items are not visible in inventories, if you can't see the item you can't see it's trade gold status either. What I think you are trying to ask is the more commonly used "trade lock" status of the item.

The stock market is a very complex environment, so we decided to experiment on a simpler market instead: the Steam Community Market. Steam is a popular online gaming platform. Gamers can use the Steam Community Market to buy and sell in-game items to fellow gamers.

The basic algorithm consisted of empirical rules, which we optimized with genetic algorithms. We then added a Deep Q-Learning algorithm which enables us to construct a rudimentary decision-making policy.

For example, in one iteration we found that the agent finished executing with a portfolio of items worth 49,630 monetary units, but with only 454 monetary units in the bank. Essentially, the agent anticipated high profits in the future and therefore never sold any items.

Next, we tried an Actor-Critic algorithm running with the above data but using a reward function that included a range of features. For example, if the agent reaches the end of the data with a positive balance, the agent is rewarded with the amount of money earned.

Valve recently introduced an update that affects CS and the trading community. According to this update, from now on any items bought or traded will not be visible to others in your Steam inventory for a 10-day time period.
