TafsirIshari is a significant and prominent type of exegesis, whose tradition exists from the Era of Prophethood till date in the Islamic Ummah especially in Sufia . The Narrations of the First Ever Greatest Exegete Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Sayings of his Holy Companions R-A and the commentary literature of great Muslim Sufi Exegetes is the best example and evidence of this. In this Islamic heritage of Tafsir Ishari and commentary literature Allama Ismail Haqqi RA added his valuable work in the form of his famous Tafsir Tafsir Rooh Ul byan which consist of a large number of Tafsiri Isharaat i-e the inner meanings of the Quranic Verses. This research work describes the methodology of Allama Ismail Haqqi in his Tafsir, Tafsir Rooh Ul bayan regarding Tafsir Ishari. The methodology in this research paper is descriptive and critical approach. As there is no such type of comprehensive work in Urdu up to my knowledge, so this article will be a qualitative addition to the research word.
