I see that Kan designed and programmed Mad Planets, a game, and that
was back in 1983, which probably made him 52 at least.

Here's a little more about him,
https://arcadeblogger.com/2017/04/07/kan-yabumoto-mad-planets/ and
https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=401349

He seems to have worked at Kraft Foods before writing that game, so
he was over 52. And he went to Tokyo University before going to
UC Davis and DePaul, so that probably makes him older yet.

And he seems to have had a partner on XXCopy/Clone, at one time, but
that was a 30-year project.

I think he lived in Hawaii, but I may be mixing that up with a
fraternity brother with Japanese blood for who was from Hawaii, in
his 50's, teaching in Japan, who got sick and died there.

The first link above says "We also worked together at Pixelab, the
company he founded with Jun Yum". So has anyone contacted Jun Yum
or Tony (the Arcade Blogger) to see if one of them could continue
running the company?
