xvisor+RTOS+Linux feasibility and trials

Dear all,

I am trying to learn and try the feasibility of  xvisor+Linux+RTOS in some ARM based boards as part of academic activities.

I was discussing with Julien and decided to try iMx6 sabre lite port for sabre sd.

Please see the details. 

1. Ported the xvisor on iMx 6 sabre sd 6q and it is working

2. Planning to port any RTOS

3. Planning to port GNU/Linux OS

To progress with next step (step 2) , it would be helpful if I get some inputs from this group on the supported RTOS in xvisor and any previous experience of the RTOS porting in xvisor.

Probably I shall also interested to contribute into this great initiative. 

NOTE: I heard about trampoline and any xvisor details of the same would be appreciated.

Dear All,

I belong to the team that conceive Trampoline ( https://github.com/TrampolineRTOS/trampoline ), and we are porting it to various cores.

I am currently in charge of porting Trampoline to a Raspberry-Pi 2 (Cortex-A7) upon Xvisor.

I am in the early stage of this work for now and I will inform the group when it will work.

I will meat Julien on next week in Paris, we’ll maybe speak about that.

Where are you Renjith ?

Thank you for your update.

Can I also try to have the trampoline on ARM v7 based board? Currently I have iMX sabre sd 6q. I will check to buy one Rasp Pi 2 Model B for this in case I get your code base. 

Can you share some info on the guidelines I need to do for porting the trampoline on ARM v7 based board. Probably I could help you in your work (bug fixes,feature implementation and testing) in my board.
