Is XtreemFS still being developed and enhanced?

The last release on GitHub was in 2016.

Is it still an option for new projects?

Replying to my own question from another thread (2021) in this forum.

Not enough maintainers, so don't use.

Thank you for your interest in XtreemFS.

At the moment, the project is lacking maintainers and development, and I don't see that changing in the foreseeable future.

So I would not recommend XtreemFS for production environments unless you are willing to invest in maintenance and code development yourself.
