Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings from UAE Exchange.
markets expect to open positive on Monday tracking positive Asian markets, while investors will keep an eye on Wipro which declared its numbers on Friday last week.
IT major Wipro LtdBSE -1.68 % reported 16.73 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 1,728.7 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013. The country's third largest software services firm's net profit stood at Rs 1,480.9 crore in the year-ago period.
On Friday, US stocks edged higher as earnings from Google and other companies lifted tech shares.
For the week, the Dow slid 2.1 per cent, while the Nasdaq lost 2.7 per cent. Markets were roiled earlier in the week by the plunge in gold prices and slower growth out of China, the world's second-largest economy.
Asian markets edged higher tracking gains in US markets which rose on strong earnings growth. Japanese shares surged to nearly five-year highs at the symbolic 100 yen/dollar door.
