Another question for the bookreader aficionados.

In the mets data worked up for the xtf3workshop sample stuff we found, one finds these sets for each page, e.g.:

      <cropBox>
        <x>262.0</x>
        <y>632.0</y>
        <w>2130.0</w>
        <h>3466.0</h>
      </cropBox>

      <pageNumBox>
        <x>398.0</x>
        <y>1426.0</y>
        <w>342.0</w>
        <h>284.0</h>
      </pageNumBox>

As far as I have been able to determine by trial and error, the pageNumBox stuff isn't actually used - you can see it being called for in the (dementia-inducing) BookReader.js, but tossing it out hasn't broken anything that I can determine. Can anyone disabuse me of this notion that it is useless information? At least one of the sample mets files does not have it.

More generally speaking, is this stuff documented anywhere? We've been banging around in here with a flashlight.

Thanks,

Dan

I for one have no idea about the pageNumBox.
