Is anyone working on providing an interface to XTF customized for iphone/ipad devices?

Thanks,

-Gerry

<crickets>

Seems that most of us are blissfully unrequired to cope with mobile devices in any particular way. I don't think too many people would want to wade thru our texts on a phone. Some basic tests over the past several years indicates our interface holds up relatively ok.

Years ago, our former interface designer/usability specialist created a mobile CSS for several of our e-text collections. You can see an example here:
http://dlib.indiana.edu/collections/vwwp.

Here's a blog post that explains (toward the bottom) how it was implemented: https://blogs.libraries.indiana.edu/redux/2013/03/25/making-mobile-meaningful/.

Michelle,

This is great -- just what I was looking for.

PS. Dan -- thanks for taking the time to reply. I know what you mean, but some of our users are asking for a mobile phone interface.

Yeah as phones get bigger it's a little less ridiculous.
