Apologies if this is better suited to the users list-- I've posted
there without any luck, so I thought I'd try over here.
I'm trying to configure a mildly customized version of the xtf
bookreader (currently set up to work with static jpegs) to display
images served by the djatoka jpeg 2000 server. I'm not sure where to
add the information designating the resolver url or how this is
integrated with the file information. Unfortunately, this instance is
on a sandbox that runs on my laptop, so I can't offer a live link. An
example of the type of url I'd like to target is :
I'm looking at the bookreaderDocFormatter, and I think this is the
area I need to work on:
(from our modified docformatter)
br.xtfDocDir = "<xsl:value-of select="$images.dir"/><xsl:text>jpg/</
xsl:text><xsl:value-of select="$titlecode"/><xsl:value-of
select="$titlecode-year"/>/";
br.pages = [
<xsl:variable name="quote" select="'"'"/>
<xsl:for-each select="/*/leaf[@access='true']">new
br.Page(<xsl:value-of select="
concat(
cropBox/@w, ',',
cropBox/@h, ',',
$quote, @imgFile, $quote, ',',
@leafNum, ',',
position() - 1, ',',
if (@pageNum > 0) then @pageNum else
'null')"/>)
</xsl:for-each>
];
In this instance, the resulting bit of html code is:
br.xtfDocDir = "http://dlgmedia1-www.galib.uga.edu/data/test/jpg/
abw/abw1882/";
br.pages = [
new br.Page(5348,7564,"abw1882-0127.jpg",127,0,null)
];
// Override the default doSearch
br.doSearch = function() {
this.updateSearchResults([
Am I even in the right neighborhood, or should I be trying something
entirely different?
Could anybody who has done this explain/provide a docFormatter example
of how to make this work for somebody (me!) who is unfortunately not
Javascript fluent? Or really barely even conversant?
Thanks!

I think you're in the right area of the code. If you can manage to get the javascript to construct a URL that djatoka will recognize you should be good to go.
Sadly I had this working once with Djatoka but tossed the code at some point, because Djatoka wouldn't run in 64-bit Java, and it was too complicated for us to run two servers. :(
I wish I could help more...
