Hello Team,

Kindly help us to get the EoS/EoL date for the XStream 1.4.19.

and is this version supported open Java 11 or 17? If not then will future release of the version will support open Java 11 or 17

XStream builds and runs its complete test suite for XStream 1.4.19 with Java
17.

We are also looking for 1.4.18 for Java 17 compatible or not?

We are confused about the statement on "https://x-stream.github.io/faq.html" where it mentioned that " XStream fails since Java 17, because types in modules cannot be accessed from the unnamed module!".

Can you please look and give us clarity on this?

This should be updated. XStream can handle all types that have been opened. So
it depends on your setup and if you are willing to do this.
