I'm emitting 1 particle from a null and having a strand trail coming from it. However there seems to be a gap between the particle and the beginning of the strand. Any way to fix this? I'm using the "Create Strands" node and have tried upping the num segments but it's still there.

Really? I tought this was not possible, do you see the gap in the viewport or at rendertime?

I think it was just a matter of not having enough strand segments. I rebuilt it and is working now. The create strands is plugged into the execute on emit port of the emit from null node.
