Hello,

I’m looking for bigger resolution of the new Maya, MAX, Softimage logos.  It’s for internal presentations.

I know there is some Autodesk people on this list so perhaps someone can help? I looked on the website but they don’t seem available.

Thanks

Marc-André

Autodesk said they would slowly reveal what the new logos mean, I know it has to do with motion, but they kind of remind me of those painters who paint spatters on a canvas and get paid $25 Million.

You could probably make your own in 20 mins. They're pretty simple

I’m REALLY surprised that only new logo that is there is the Softimage one. No Maya nor MAX…

Nice site Stephen, I’ll bookmark it.

Such majestic form... Eloquent, joyful, crinkly...

Have you thought of applying to http://origamiboulder.com/ ?  A skill of this caliber must not go untapped. :p

I'd like to know how they designed the new Autodesk Logos, I love to occasionally Illustrate in Illustrator :)

Have you tried drag n dropping a smaller version of the logos in images.google.com? It'll search for similar images in all format .. maybe you can get lucky (no pun intended) and find a higher res by tweaking the search options.

Cheers

Ya I did try it. the only version that came out are the big 288px! ;)

It’s ok, someone from Autodesk emailed me what I needed.

Merci Xavier,

Easy prank for a pipeline guy or TD with sufficient privileges:
1. Find the splashscreen for Maya,
2. Save as BMP somewhere,
3. Before launching Soft, sneak in the env var "XSI_SPLASH" pointing to that filepath.

"Oh god! Why is it opening Maya?! Noooo...."

;p

Christopher, if you are struggling with the sophistication of the Autodesk logos perhaps my latest work will be more accessable, I present: origami killer whale
