Hi,

I have a scene that I need to output to FBX. The scenes been cleaned of all
extraneous cruft, it's as lean as can be [three very simple materials shared
across all objects, two uv sets, nothing else]. There's approximately 1000
objects, all very low poly. When looking at the script editor output, the
hierarchy is built speedily enough, but as soon as It starts to process the
individual objects it slows to a crawl. I'll probably be looking at about 10
hours for export. This is far from ideal but I have no idea what is actually
going on, previous scenes have exported a lot faster.

All FBX options are off except geometry, export ASSCI and export selected.

Any pointers much appreciated. Help me obi-list, you're my only hope.

Jules

Well shit a brick. Turns out some obi-list invaded my brain automagically:
seems even with texture export off it still must do something heavy with the
images, they are all 4k, but resizing them to 1k outputs a gazillion times
faster [or there abouts ;)]. Is this be design, or a bug?
