Hi, thanks for that Stephen,

Speaking of SI websites, the very first Softimage site had SpotLit 3D Icons on a black background and purple links
which was online before the internet (quickly) became common. (sorry no screenshots)

And here's a shot of the second generation one, online from mid '95 to late '96
(ScreenShot from '96 on IE 3.0 / windows95 )

A blast from the past, featuring a blast from the past lol

It's from when I was being shuffled between SI|Particle (standalone) QA testing, SI Marketing,
and content creation (a bit before the Content Group).
Graphics were done in Eddie  (a few years before Photoshop layer styles) & SI|3D

It was one of the first "Skinned" websites,
and as soon as it went offline to make way for the new one,
some company offered Microsoft 100,000 for the graphics/layout sources lol

To give an idea of what web sites looked like around that time (1997)..

I really liked the one you posted Stephen,
it was designed by Charles Migos who was also doing all the DS/Sumatra interfaces (now at Apple I think),
and was quite a web site for the time in 97 and would still be a nice site by today's standards.

Featured on the "Seminar Registration" thumbnail was Garth the Gargoyle used in numerous demos,

here's a later (& slightly angrier) version of Garth.    (Seminar Registration Raar!! :P)

Personally wasn't as fond of the white/red era,
yet was nice and clean.

But I did like this look up-t'il '09

Can't really comment on the later generic page
(same for all AD product pages)                                               Guess the Area page can look okay..

.. but find this to be closer to home  (while perhaps needing a makover :P)

My pleasure and sorry for the multiple posts,
I was getting error messages from the list saying it was larger than 600k
& didn't think they would make it through,
cheers
