That was quite a flashback to the early days… loved seeing work I was part of while at The Mill… wow… quite a ride.

Yes! that was the year I started to learn Softimage. Where did the time go? I was working in XSI this whole week. Probably why I am here again

Started with XSI around version 2, I think. I wasn’t too excited when it came out, but just because I spent a lot of time learning Softimage|3D. And as junior level I wanted to make use out of it. Didn’t like the idea to start with a “new” software all over again.

I still remember that i asked someone from the german distribution of Softimage why the fuck undo is not on the u-key anymore! Desperately trying to not switch to XSI at the time. :))

I also first started my XSI journey with v3.5 but I remember I quickly updated to v4 and that was where I really learned the software. Great memories! I still have the v5 physical package (software, documentation, tutorials) in my bookshelf.
