Hi All,
The Analog/Mixed-Signal Product Validation Team is looking to fill a QA open position for the Questa ADMS product, Mentor Graphics Analog/Mixed-Signal simulator.
General Job description:
- Aim to reach a high quality level for the product Questa ADMS
- Participate in the test plan and quality plan definition of each release in coordination with development and marketing teams
- Create test cases to evaluate new features using design languages (Spice, Verilog-AMS, VHDL-AMS …)
- Analyze defects reported by customers and automate their test cases
- Run the adequate tests, analyze the test reports, make the diagnosis of problems, report them to development teams and possibly suggest the way to solve them
- Measure the test coverage and suggest improvements
- Measure performance aspects and monitor improvement
- Use products as a designer and report issues and suggestions to enhance them
General Job Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering with minimum of very good with honors
- Beginner or experienced
- Good knowledge of VHDL/Verilog.
- Knowledge of A/MS HDL languages (VHDL-AMS & Verilog-AMS) and SystemC or SystemVerilog is a plus
- Basic knowledge of analog and mixed signal design and experience designing simple electronic circuits or boards (with use of simulation tools) is preferred
- Knowledge or interest in QA methodology and in development tools (version management, defect management, or test coverage) is highly desirable
- Shell Scripting and UNIX knowledge
- Knowledge in multithreading and performance measurement methodologies for various architectures is a plus
- Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-Motivated, attentive to details and able to work independently
