At some point mid-beamtime, upon running import_sample_info() (after updating the sample list), the following things happened:

-The sample spreadsheet we had open crashed
-The open xPDFsuite application crashed
-Our iPython terminal started only showing the last ~30 lines or so (imiting our ability to check the sample list)
-Upon trying to re-open xPDFsuite, we get the following error: "IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device"
-Trying to download a simple powerpoint slide resulted in the error "There is not enough room on the disk to save /tmp/mozilla_xf28id20/3fQFYPK2.pptx.part. Remove unnecessary files from the disk and try again, or try saving in a different location."
-The computer started running very slowly.

What can we do to free up space and allow us to use xPDFsuite again?

We had this issue last time. We could figure out the reason. Except knowing this due to NFS network drive issues. Here is what you should do now.
1- exit from i python session
2- exit from setup_analysis
3- exit from pipeline command
4- restart the computer sometime you need to hard start. Login as : xf28id2 pwd xpd2810@*!)
5- open up shells for xpdui, pipeline, analysis, xpdsuite etc
