Just a short note. I'm planning on setting up a new website for XPCA. The old
xpca.org site is looking old and hasn't been updated for years. We've registered the domain
xpca.io, which I kinda dig (the implied Input / Output of .io appeals).
I'll undoubtedly reuse the existing content, but I'm planning on setting it up using Github pages. Has anyone had any experience with Github pages? It looks like Jekyll is the preferred static content generator.
If anyone has any thoughts on what other content should go into the site - or how the information should be ordered - let me know. I'll go ahead and build it anyway if I don't get any feedback, but I thought I'd give people the chance.
On a related topic, we need some kind of simple governance model for work. I'm thinking perhaps a few more "Guiding Principles" - again, any input is welcome.
And yes, you can take this as I'm getting serious about it all again. Sorry it's been so long.
