XP Software Engineer, looking for adventure?

Hey Everyone, 

I manage hiring for an engineering-focused Agile consulting team in Australia ( I'm an internal advisor..not a recruitment agency) and we're struggling to find great engineers who are genuinely dedicated to XP (including pairing). If any of you (or your network) are interested in exploring adventures overseas, I'd love to chat. 

The current global pandemic crisis has made many of us consider what life will look like in the coming year. If you're feeling like you'd like more adventure in your life, you might not have considered Australia.. However (!), Sydney (and Australia more widely) are known for it's laid back lifestyle, beaches, sun + surf and great opportunities for adventuring. With the current challenges many countries are facing, Australia stands out with very few COVID cases and affordable healthcare, combined with a high standard of living. 

 

The team I work with was founded by a South American immigrant to Australia and has built a small, very experienced and international team in Sydney. We're searching for experienced full-stack engineers (polyglot/javascript) to join and we pay for full relocation, visa sponsorship costs and initial accommocation etc. 

 

Of course, we are actively interviewing  + offering positions for when the pandemic lockdown and travel restrictions are lifted, since Australia's borders are currently closed. We expect travel to commence in the coming weeks and will be happy to confirm offers before this happens so we're ready to kick off the visa application process as soon as we can.
