Toaster is making some progress in ways not apparent on the mail list.
Thank you for the encouragement and progress we have made so far. We
have more to do. Look for some additional work coming soon.

On a somewhat tangential note, for those not yet familiar, I am one of
the directors of www.partimus.org. I encourage those interested in
Linux for education in SF and other locations to subscribe to our mail
list. http://groups.google.com/group/partimus

The following text from Cathy Malmrose links to some amazing new
education focused resources including a TED video.

This Saturday is another tangential event, an education focused TEDxSF
event that I will be attending. I hope you consider attending as well.
http://www.tedxsfed.org

I look forward to speaking with you all very soon.

Regards,

Grant

...and why is this important to Partimus now?

Because if this continues to take off, it gives even more energy
behind Partimus. Until recently school computer labs were "extra" and
little attention was given (let alone funds!). If the computers can be
used to deliver high quality content.... Partimus' work is even more
crucial.
