If you Toasteros would like to join me at Noisebridge.net in SF for
our regularly Linux Discussion group at 6:00 PM we can work on some
Toaster related items. I just spoke to Nina who will be there. After
our development environments are worked out we can get some code
built. I have notes for a few emails summarizing our progress in a
few different areas like the CD/wodim back end, the USB back end, the
Toaster UI front end and some research on two open source programs
written in python for both Ubuntu and Fedora. We can use them to
learn about python code and/or to borrow some code and attribute them.
I'll try to get those written in the next few hours.
I'm excited to get back to work on Toaster after the olpcsf.org event
that was so successful and my week long trip to Orlando, FL attending
uds.ubuntu.com. On somewhat unrelated notes, I have been exchanging
some email and IRC discussions with the
ubuntu-s...@lists.ubuntu.com folks and #ubuntu-sugarteam folks to
learn how best to deploy sugar on Ubuntu. I will be repartitioning
and using Fedora at the Mission Beacon location for the two machines
that are currently running very slowly using VirtualBox.
