Problem with flashing firmware and connecting (Arduino Leonardo)

Hi everyone! Have some problems.

I have Arduino Leonardo with Mega32U4.

Manual "How to flash your arduino with the XOscillo firmware" wrote that "The firmware can come as a HEX file..." and I understand that I need such files as arduinooscillo.cpp.hex and avrdude.conf. So where I can find it? In downloads I just see rar with scope.ino and XOscillo.exe. 

Is there no need in hex firmware nowadays?

I tried to flash a scope.ino but my xoscillo says "Couldn't autodetect port, please select manually". I'm checking my arduion port but nothing happens. Program says that "Scope maybe waiting for trigger".

Please, help!
