Dear All,
  Hope everyone is fine.

I have written a paper, combining the work of eXpOS and ExpL (nine pages).
Please have a quick look, and if you have time, have a careful look and report errors.
This will be submitted to the open repository arXiv.  I also plan to send it to some venue in computer science education,  where there is an audience of interest in the work. (The section on the compiler project has been kept short because there are several other projects of similar/better design for compilers.  I have tried to highlight those points where the present project is different from others.)

Please check whether YOUR NAME appears correctly in Section 6.  Moreover, if I have left out someone inadvertently, please inform me.

Akhil, Rohit, if you have time, could you please have a careful reading.

Update on the projects:  We ran both eXpOS and ExpL at NITC (eXpOS was run at IIT Palakkad also).  The feedback data of eXpOS from NITC is put up at:
The data from IIT PKD was collected, but it went missing.  So, we couldn't include that.  I have the ExpL feedback with me, but yet to be consolidated and uploaded.

In the present "online" semester, I am having a tough time with 105 students registered in the course! (We have offered the course to  non-CSE students as well.  I generally take feedback only from CSE students).  In the compiler lab, a student from ECE finished the lab ahead of everyone in CS! The year before, two students from EE did the compiler lab exceptionally well).

Hi Sir,

Sorry for the late reply. The paper looks good.. Some mirror typos i noticed

* Section 3.1 : "disk, memory console I/O and a timer" - comma is missing
* 3.3 : First sentence, "module" is repeated.
* 3.5: The next seven stages (called intermediate stages) begin with the management of kernel context,
* 4 : First sentence has an extra "by" after "(NIT Calicut)"
* 4.3: " completely based on the road map of" extra "of"

Thanks & Regards
Vivek Anand

Dear Viveak,
Nice to hear from you.  The paper has gone to arXiv;  but I will correct it in the next version.
What is happening on your end?  Any updates?  Where are you now?
I am in Palakkad IIT Campus with Jasine - since lockdown. Plans to go back to Calicut next week.
What is happening with Sreeraj?   I have been in touch with Shamil recently.

I can't help but spam. For the system-buffs, a nice podcast with Neha Narkhede, the CTO Co-founder of Confluent:
