Dear all,

  XOS is currently used for OS lab instruction at IIT Palakad by Jasine

and it seems to be going well.  A better picture is expected by the end of the semester. 

  In the meanwhile, at NITC we also got a similar system for

compiler lab and this one too is going fine.  .

Compilerturns to be a "harder job" than OS.   I think the fundamental
difference is that while one codes an OS, one's compiler code
code is a meta-code that generates "code" and  this indirection
seems to make the task intellectually sophisticated
