Manjit,
PLEASE NOTE:
In other dictionaries the "main entries" are the words and the meaning follows after the words. However, XOBDO is a "semantics-based" dictionary... that is the meaning comes first at the "main entry", then the words of different languages are associated with it. We, in XOBDO, call them "Idea"s and are identified by distinct IdeaIDs. These Ideas must have different PoS (parts of speech) and a nice, little but unambiguous explanation.
1. The slang/formal etc are identified by 'voting' in XOBDO.
2. The meaning also MUST be language independent, so that words of other languageS conveying same meaning OR having similar utility can be linked together.
My suggestion is this case is either add them to
http://www.xobdo.org/dic.php?i=327 or explain exactly on what context it is used in a different IdeaID so that a non-Assamese can understand them after they consult XOBDO hearing the words somewhere else for the first time.
Thanks,
