Is 'keteki soraai' the same as Brain fever bird.
Hem Kosh entry => Keteki soraai- A kind of Summer Bird.

I know that 'Papiha' (Hindi) is Brain Fever Bird. But I am not sure
whether 'Keteki Soraai' is 'Papiha or not.'
Because, this birds generally hide under the leaves of tall trees. So,
it is difficult to say even after looking the picture as I have never
seen a Keteki Soraai.

Yes, It is like Kawri (Crow) to seen. But I have no idea about Papiha as well as Brain Fever Bird.

According to “ আধুনিক অসমীয়া শব্দকোষ -

কেতেকী - Indian Nightingale ; Hierococcyx varius

So scientific name of কেতেকী is  Hierococcyx varius. And the scientific name of Brain fever bird (Common hawk cuckoo) is  Hierococcyx varius. So কেতেকী and Brain fever bird is the same bird. The new Scientic name is Cuculus varius

English: Ceylon hawk cuckoo, brain-fever bird;

Hindi: Papiha, Kapak or Upak

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

13 in (33 cm); 3.6 oz (104 g). Tails are banded, with bars on the abdomen and flanks.

DISTRIBUTION

India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka

HABITAT

Montane forests, deciduous and evergreen wooded areas; also pine forests, gardens, groves, and bamboo thickets.

BEHAVIOR

Loud, shrieking call, often heard singing at night with a bright moon.

FEEDING ECOLOGY AND DIET

Insects, including caterpillars, termites, grasshoppers, beetles; they also eat fruits and berries. Arboreal and secretive foragers.

REPRODUCTIVE BIOLOGY

Brood parasitic; breeding March–July in India, and January–April in Sri Lanka.
