XNAT Ohif viewer measurement delete - not working

Hello XNAT team, 

I recently updated the ohif viewer plugin to version 3.7.2. However after updating the measurements (line, angle and bidirectional) are not getting deleted from the exported collections. 

Replication senario:

1. Open an image session in XNAT Ohif viewer

2. draw a few (may be 3 or 4) line measurements. 

3. Name the collection as "test" 

4. Export "test" collection. should present with a toast message as exported successfully

5. Reload the viewer page from browser

6. Import "test" collection 

Tried two different senarios as next step:

7a. Click on the trash icon next to a measurement in an imported collection (assumption this would delete the measurement from the collection)

 this removes the measurement from the screen display. however, when I reload the page and try import, the "test1-updated" collection is still there. 

7b. senario 2: Click on the lock symbol next to the measurement in the import collection.

This brings the measurement to an "unlocked" state to In-progress measurements section, 

 long press the measurement to pull the options below the measurement, however if try to delete the measurement by clicking on the trash icon showed above, I could not update/save the measurement to export.

8. After either of the above methods, the measurement is not deleted and re-appears after refreshing the page and importing again. 

Any help or work around is appreciated.

Hello XNAT team,

Hope this email finds you well, I'm sorry to bother you with the update on this, we have a time crunch on a deliverable that is dependent on the ohifviewer plugin's ability to perform measurement (CRUD) operations. 

As an alternate option, Is there an XNAT API endpoint that can delete a measurement marked on the viewer, we can add a wrapper or create a work around by directly calling the delete endpoint to delete the measurement marking via our own custom code. Thanks for all the help, please advise on this.

Hi PSS Team,

The delete button removes the measurement collection from the panel and viewport - only from the frontend. It does not trigger removing the collection from the backend archive/database.

I think it would be a nice feature to display a dialog offering the user an option to remove the collection from the backend too.

To remove the collection from the backend, please use this API endpoint:

/xapi/roi/projects/{projectId}/collections/{idOrLabel}

curl -X DELETE "http://{xnat_host}/xapi/roi/projects/{projectId}/collections/{idOrLabel}"
