No viewable scans: There are no scans in this session compatible with the OHIF Viewer

Hello, 
I got the problem that when I upload DICOMs via a Python script using pyxnat and wanna open them with the OHIF Viewer, I got the following error message shown:  No viewable scans: There are no scans in this session compatible with the OHIF Viewer

It seems to be a problem with the pyxnat upload because when I upload them as zip folder I can also view them then. We could exclude that information get broken when uploading because when we download the uploaded DICOM it still can be viewed in an external DICOM Viewer. 

Currently, the session is organized as following:

- scans
        - folder: sequence1

                - folder: DICOM
                         - file1.dcm
                         - file2.dcm

                            ...

         - folder: sequence2

                - folder: DICOM
                         - file3.dcm
                         - file4.dcm

                            ...
    ...

What is the problem?

Hi there,

It sounds like you're uploading the data as resource files instead of going through the import API. The import API sets various metadata fields in XNAT that the OHIF viewer depends on.
