Hello,

We are running XNAT (version 1.10.0, build: 246) on a CentOS 7 Linux server (release 7.6.1810). I'm using the XNAT Desktop Client (v3.2.5) on Windows 11.

We have the following plugins installed:
XNAT Pipeline Engine Plugin (1.1.0-xpl)
containers (3.6.2-fat)
XNAT Batch Launch Plugin (0.7.0)
XNAT DXM Settings Plugin (1.0)

Recently, one of the sites we work with has started using enhanced DICOM images or multi-frame DICOM images. Where all the frames/slices are in a single .dcm file.

We are getting errors of the following sort when we try to upload them:
Extraction/Review failed: unable to read DICOM object anat-T1w.dcm

Can XNAT work with enhanced/multi-frame DICOM images? Basically, we're trying to figure out how to upload them to our XNAT server, but we're not even sure if they are compatible. We would appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks!

Hugh

I'm not aware of any reason it would fail.  Can you share a de-identified copy of the data so we can try it?

Thanks
Tim

Hello,

Thanks for responding so quickly!

We figured out how to get it to work. The XNAT version wasn't the problem. We reinstalled the XNAT Desktop Client and cleared the %AppData% folder for XNAT-Desktop-Client and now it's working.

Thanks,
Hugh
