Can DQR route C-MOVE requests to different XNAT receiving nodes?

Hi all, I have hopefully a quick question.

Our XNAT DQR plugin has one "calling AE title" (eg, CWS1) that it uses to send the c-find query and c-move requests. Does the plugin's functionality allow us to import the requested data to different port/AE nodes on our XNAT?

For instance, if we want to import requests for clinical workflows to our XNAT receiving node with AE/Port RESEARCH/5678 and research workflows to node CLINICAL/4321, potentially for auditing sake. Would our single XNAT DQR plugin be able to do that? I'm envisioning some of this work being kicked off with REST calls to xapi/dqr/import, and specifying the receiving node in the request json.

Thanks,
Eve

Hi Eve,

Yes, that works. The calling AE title is used in DIMSE traffic when communicating with the PACS to identify your XNAT making the request. You can create different SCP receivers on different ports that are the targets of the C-MOVE to receive the images. You will need to configure all of these AEs on the PACS side as well so that it knows what "RESEARCH" and "CLINICAL" mean when it responds to a C-MOVE for the images.

Thanks,
Charlie Moore
