One of our researchers is requesting 8,000 deidentified eye images.  I was trying to use XNAT DQR to retrieve the images from PACS and ran into the session builder not implemented error.

I have been looking through the documentation XNAT Documentation: Adding a Custom Importer & Session Builder via a Plugin which I believe is the correct approach to address this.

I find the documentation on this confusing so am struggling.  However before spending more time on this I want to confirm that I am looking at the correct documentation and that adding this will work when using the DQR plugin.  Is there a sample project online that can be used as an example for this process?

Is there an XNAT service that can be engaged to quickly add these unsupported SOP classes when needed for a fee?

Thanks,

Charlie Moore

Hi there,

I don't think you need a whole custom importer. The easiest approach would probably be to take a look at the guidance of Kate [and Rick] on this post: https://groups.google.com/g/xnat_discussion/c/VwPkVuX8SfA/m/3ZQLyqk3AQAJ .

Thanks,

Thank you for the guidance that worked and I was able to create/add the plugin and retrieve the OP images.
