Hi Charlie,

I hope that you'll be telling me that I am just failing to spot something obvious!

I have a problem with the Download Images dialogue in the UI. Here's a screenshot from a study that contains lots of long MR pulse sequence names (which map onto DICOM series descriptions).

All the ones starting l_t1 and l_t2 are different, but this dialogue appears to provide no way of expanding the middle column to see the whole series description. Making the window wider does not change the width of what is displayed. This makes it impossible to select the right images to download.

Any thoughts on how to proceed? My only option appears to do this programmatically via REST, but it would be nice to be able to use the Web UI as well, as this facility would be extremely useful.

Best wishes,

Simon

Hi Simon,

If you hover over the individual scan type in the column there it will display the full value in a tool tip. Alternatively, even though the value is truncated in the display, if you use the filtering box for the column, you can filter on the full value.

Do either/both of those make this a non-issue? I realize you still can't see it all at a glance, but it does seem a bit like an edge case.

Hi Charlie,

Fantastic! That's exactly what I was hoping you'd say.

I did try hovering, but having just done so again, I see why I thought there was a problem. I have a very long list. What I'm experiencing for this particular project is a variable delay up to several seconds before the appearance of the hover text. When I return to the same line again, the rendering is instantaneous, but the first time it takes longer to appear. Hence, when I didn't see anything after a short hover, I just assumed that this wasn't implemented. Now that I know that this feature is there, there is no issue to fix at all.

  Best wishes,

Simon
