Hi,
New user with no IT background here. I would really appreciate some help with viewing echo cine files in OHIF. I have tried importing the files into XNAT via both the compressed uploader and via the desktop app. In one test for example the DICOM study contains 5 series. Series 1 (Scan 0000 below) contains 60 DICOM files:  10 stills (SOP Class UID: 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.6.1) and 59 cine loops,  (SOP Class UID: 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.3.1). I am able to import the files into XNAT.

However, when I view in OHIF I can only see 10 stills from Scan 0000 and three files from 1-US3.
I guess I am doing something wrong during the import process or there is some key DICOM tag that is missing?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

During the development of the XNAT-integration of the OHIF-viewer, the team has worked primarily with the image IODs that we routinely have access to via our clinical research projects. These are strongly biased towards MRI, CT and PET, with fewer projects using US. It may simply be that our dev team has never investigated the SOP Class UIDs that you mention and what the core-OHIF support for them is.

From the look of what you posted, some of these scans have been anonymised. So it's also plausible that some necessary tags have been removed. Is it possible for you to share privately a copy of the anonymised DICOM files so that we can take a look?

  Best wishes,

Simon

Hi Simon,

Thanks so much for your offer to help, I really appreciate it. What's the best way to share the files privately?

Thanks again,
Thomas
