Delete undefined experiment

Hello, 

I found an issue with some data uploaded recently. It appears as if the experiment had an unknown type, displayed like the screenshot attached. No idea why, I haven't found any clues in received or restlet logs of the day of uploading. I managed to download the images and they have Modality: OT, which might be the reason although they are CTs and the SOPClass UID is correct (CT Image Storage). 

I am trying to delete the experiment, or even the subject entirely, but it results in error 403. All I can see in xdat.log is "ERROR org.nrg.xdat.om.base.auto.AutoXnatImagesessiondata - User cannot delete experiments for project MyProject123" which is not true, since I am logging in as admin and I am one of the owners of the experiment. 

Any ideas what is happening and how I can delete this? Using XNAT version 1.8.2.2, build: 4.

Hi Lorena,

This happens because XNAT doesn't have the appropriate data type set up properly. Based on the Modality being OT, that means the session type XNAT will assign to this should be xnat:otherDicomSessionData . If you go to Administer > Data Types and setup the xnat:otherDicomSessionData data type, you should get a valid link to the session from the subject page you screenshotted. Doing that should also fix the 403 problem.

Aha! That made the link appear, thank you. Still got an error to delete the experiment (possibly because I tried before) but I could delete the subject.
