Adding new parameters to Container Service Plugin Admin UI — expected workflow?

Hi all,  I’m looking to add a couple of new parameters to the Container Service plugin’s Admin UI, but I’ve noticed that doing so seems to require updates across several parts of the codebase (UI components, REST handling, configuration, resolver wiring, etc.).  Before I proceed further, I wanted to check whether this manual multi-step update process is the expected workflow, or if there is a recommended generator, tool, or pattern that should be used instead when adding new parameters to the Admin UI.  Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
