Two factor authentication and modification of XNAT UI

Greetings,

Is there a possibility of enabling 2-factor authentication in the XNAT login? (mobile/email  OTP or Microsoft authenticator)?

Has anyone modified the XNAT UI? (I was looking at flywheel demo videos and it looks way sleek compared to XNAT :)

I'm not super familiar with how it works, but there is an MFA plugin that's open source: https://bitbucket.org/xnatx/mfa_plugin/src/main/ .

Have you managed to implement 2-factor authentication? I tried here by compiling it and inserting it into the xnat plugin folder, but it did not recognize it, generating a 404.

We are actually actively working on an update to this plugin now. The original version of the MFA plugin was developed for a customer deployment, and the open-sourced version that Charlie referenced hasn't been widely QA'ed or distributed. I expect that we'll have an updated release soon.
