Hi,

I'm using the OHIF viewer 2.0.0 in XNAT 1.7.5 and was wondering whether any length and angle measurements can be exported. I only see export options for either contours or segmentations.Screenshot 2021-06-29 at 13.45.07.png

Any tips would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Ralph

Hi Ralph

There is currently no option to export length and angle annotations in the OHIF viewer plugin. We are actively looking at the best way to support this but I can't give an ETA.

Best regards

James

Hi Ralph,

Just to add to what James said above, this is something that has been on our priority list for some time now, but got a little bit hijacked by the other bits of major work we did on the viewer upgrade from version 2.x (running under XNAT 1.7) to version 3 (running under XNAT 1.8).

The core OHIF team has recently presented one part of a solution - this video looks really slick - for writing length annotations to DICOM-SR format, which is very nice, because it keeps the annotation results within the radiology workstream. However, we haven't yet seen the equivalent for any of the other annotation tools, so don't know whether this will be generally applicable.

In general, it's also worth saying that discussion is still needed on how file types like DICOM-SR get represented within the XNAT schema. They are not "scans" as such. Some discussion has started on this, but again, this work got sidelined a little in the run up to the launch of v3 of the viewer.

  Best wishes,

Simon

Hi Simon,

Thanks for the additional info!

The video looks very nice indeed. I hope work on this can start again soon and that
angle measurements can be similarly saved to DICOM-SR.

Cheers, Ralph
