Hi,

I have an MR scan that gets uploaded to my XNAT project archive as 2 sessions with labels that differ by some trailing digits (time rounding issue).

e.g.
MRsession_1 has folder 0
MRsession_1234 has folders 1-12

It must be possible to merge these sessions within XNAT since the folders/images are non overlapping but I can't quite figure it out. I can create new folders in "manage files" but I'd ideally like the folders 0-12 in the same session labeled MRsession_1.  Currently looking for a GUI based solution (but will be looking into a pyXNAT based one since this seems to be happening consistently).

Thanks,
Jen

Does the Study Instance UID match for all the scans?  Perhaps the scan 0 has a different one then the rest.

If the data was still in the prearchive, it would be easy to merge one into the other.  But, once both are archived, I don't think there is a feature in XNAT for merging them via the UI.  It would probably need to be scripted via pyXNAT or something else.  But, the easier route would be if the Study Instance UIDs matched and the data came in unified.
