Upgrade from 1.8.1 to 1.8.3 and plugins unrecognized

Hi,

I just upgraded from XNAT 1.8.1 to 1.8.3 and it seems that none of my previously installed plugins are recognized. I had Container Service 3.0.0, LDAP 1.1.0, and a custom plugin. I even went as far as re-downloading the Container Service plugin again from xnat.org and dropping that into my plugins folder. Yet when I go to Site Administration > Installed Plugins, it only says there are no plugins installed. I'm also not seeing anything in the XNAT logs other than an entry related to my custom plugin 

• Element not found: neuroinfo:anatqc. The data type may not be configured or may be missing. Check the xdat_element_security table for invalid entries or data types that should be installed or re-installed.

I'm open to any suggestions!

Hi Tim,

Have you upgraded to tomcat 8 or tomcat 9? As of 1.8.2, XNAT requires tomcat 8/9 for plugins to work properly: https://wiki.xnat.org/display/XNAT18/XNAT+1.8.2+Release+Notes .

Ah-hah. Thanks Charlie, I missed that part. I need to update Tomcat to 8 or 9.
